“I try to maintain kindness in every aspect of my life. You never know where somebody is in their own life, what they’re dealing with day to day. We have a huge affect on one another.”
My short film THE FEELING PART is kicking ass on the festival circuit with many awards and screenings!
It made its New York debut at the Chelsea International Film Festival, voted one of the Top 10 Film Festivals in North America, screening at the Regal Cinema in Union Square, NYC.
Screened at: Chelsea Internation Film Festival (New York premiere), Golden Door International Film Festival, MacoProject NYC. Selected screenings: Manhattan Film Festival, New York Women in Film and Television (NYWIFT). Winner of 14 awards for Best Actress, Best Short Film, Best Screenplay.
The Feeling Part is a kaleidoscopic meditation on the effect of suicide on survivors and the inherited sadness and guilt that comes along with it. A glimpse into the struggle through the elephant in the room, depression, and the journey to the other side of it. What are the things that sustain us, that really matter in life? What do we want to take with us and what do we leave behind? A wild ride into loss, love, grief and finding the space in between.
